Hi Longlungs, This is a dificult one. I take priobotics and I think it helps. I also take acidophilis, think thats the spelling. I get that from Holland and barret. I chew two tablets before a meal. It helps restore the natural flora to the tummy which gets upset by the amount of antibiotics we often have to take. M

hi Mocarey thankyou i will give those a try and soon coz this is really having an affect on my everyday living.x

Good advice from Mocarey, if the bowel becomes unhappy after taking anti biotics, probiotics can help make the bowel happy again :)

I would try a process of elimination with food. Try cutting out for 3-5 days, one at a time:

- White bread or food items made with white commercial baking flour.

replace with whole grain bread, granary bread.

- If you already eat wholemeal bread try cutting that out for 3-5 days and note any

difference.

- Foods high in sugar.

-Foods high in fat.

If you are still in difficulty after a trial period of elimination check in with your doctor for further advice.

A Daily Mail Article here:

Hope you are feeling less bloated real soon, its not at all helpful to breathing easier.

Good wishes

BC

Activated charcoal might help, Holland & Barrett stock this too (note that it shouldn't be taken at the same time as any medication as it's very absorbent).
