Never head of a tico reading - perhaps it would be a good idea to phone the BLF Helpline on 03000 030 555 - I am sure they will be able to point you in the right direction. :) x

I haven't heard of that one Tracey. Best follow Scrobity's advice and phone the BLF. The nurses there know everything. Good luck with it.

Hi TLco and DLco are the same measurement, just measured using different units. It's TLco here in the UK. With the % it is hard to judge any change you need the actual values.

they might be, depends on what your hospital put on the results sheet, you would probably be looking for a number in a column called 'measured' you need to look at both the TLco and the Kco

its reading TLco 49% Kco 49% fev1 107% does that help ? thanks for replying

Normal dlco is 80% I believe.... So the lower the percentage the worse the condition
