What job ??

If you could be 16 again, what job would you have liked to do ? I think I would have loved to be an archeologist :)

If I was 16 again? I did want to be an archaeologist at the age of 16 - but was rubbish at science. If I am honest - I think I would have become an accountant. I love numbers.

Seriously, if I could have chosen to be female too, I'd have been a wild west saloon gal 'looking after' civil servants - if I'm going to get shafted by government officials I may as well get paid for it and have a good time ! :P

As a civil servant I'm not sure I know what you mean..,

Best wishes

Me I'd still be a Chef. Luv food and luv being in the kitchen, always have and always will.

Hard to explain. My daughter always had a high powered job, then she had a family, and she has returned to work, and is happy as ever she was in her previous career. She works for a very popular, classy supermarket, making up orders. The employers are very caring and work condition and perks are excellent so she is SO happy. As a retired nurse, I feel quite envious. Amazing employers.

Well now John, I,ll have to have a think, I,d love to be a nurse still but don't think I,d last five mins in todays NHS not mean enough, & I couldn't make it as an MP as lying isn't in my nature, I quite fancy archaeology too, but I think my favorite job would be as an historian I love history :)

Thanks for making me think!!!

Any history is good for me too xxx glad got the old grey matter working lol xxx

Well I have had a lot of jobs, used to do something new about every 12 months, always looking for what I loved best. But looking back the best job I had was raising my four kids and niece and nephew. (plus most of their mates seemed to live at ours) So I think I would probably work in a childrens home.

Definitely an archaeologist - abroad - in a hot place :) xx

If I was 16 again, I would join the QAs and train to be a nurse and see the world at the same time. I was accepted but chickened it, stupid girl!

I think I would want to be a professional badminton player or professional bowler. Both would suit me temperamentaly if I was young and fit again. But I ain't. I suppose I could get a job taming Scrobbity's cat. I've got a gun.

I wanted to be a hairdresser at 16, but my mother had different ideas. But after a career in the city, I had the financial where with all to fulfil my ambition, and after years of training, did become a stylist. :)
