Since getting my new (x2) inhalers and a Whistle Chamber, I can already notice a
difference in the breathing. Ahh, such a nice feeling for once.
Feeling like the cats whiskers lol

I am so pleased for you ..... so you will be doing cartwheels tomorrow then.
Thats wonderful, new lease of life xx
Oh my you're so lucky. Hope that it lasts for a long time. Good luck. xx
I had wondered this too. Not to get too excited eh! But it will be me the opportunity
to exercise my lungs
xx Ros xx
Sounds really great and good luck!! - did you have to learn any new tunes for the whistle chamber lol!
whatsx2 inhalers and whistle chamber thanks
Soz, two different inhalers to use 4 times a day. Two puffs.
Have no idea how long it will give relief, but I enjoying it while it lasts Caroll.
The whistle should not sound, if it does you are not breathing properly.

this chamber is it a plastic thing as ive read this comment its so the inhalers dont hit bak of throat like mine does, how do u use it the 2 new inhalers u have wat are they called,im on seritide 500 blue ventolin and a new 1 elkira gunuair thats to try get lung function up
The back of the throat inhalers were of no use to my choking spasms.
I just cough them out.
The chamber gives more relief. (for me)
And seems to be stopping my spasms.
It will also give me a little more energy to exercise.
Good luck Caroll.
I use them 4 times a day, morning, lunchtime, tea time, and bed time.
Keep them by the side of my bed, I insert one inhaler and two puffs, the second inhaler the same.

Exactly what are your new inhalers and whistle chamber, would love to know if they have been so beneficial .
Oh yes, gave me a good nights sleep and no choking spasms.
The chamber is designed to allow your inhaler twice the amount
of power, instead of the inhaler hitting the back of your throat it
goes into the system.
Only had mine yesterday and already noticed a huge difference.

ive just googled the chamber,it reads dont use it with powder inhalers.wat inhalers are u on
I have one of those too Ros! They make taking the inhalers sooo much easier. I was this same, as soon as it hit the back of my throat I will start to cough, so essentially I coughed the medicine straight out again!
That's great! hopefully no more choking! breath easy Ros and have a great day! x
lol . . oh I will huff, long may my springing step last.

From your surgery Caroll, but I think you will have to make an appointment so your GP knows what you are doing and recommend the right type of inhalers to use with it.#
Good luck.

Power to the people Caroll!
ano init.
i too have had a whistle chamber about two years now and they are very good if i were you i ask for a spare your doctors receptionist should be able to arrange this as i found that when i washed it out at the end of the week it always took a while to dry out if you have a spare you can use one one week and the other the following week. in the mean time good health.
That's a good idea Frank, I am using sterile wipes on the mouthpiece, never thought of washing the whole thing.

Yes it is Peg, thankfully it works for me, can notice the difference already. Still struggle with many things, but my breathing is not so laboured. And had no throat constrictions (choking) so far.
