When I could still afford to buy coloured inks for my printer. I use to "Doctor" pic's and make them into Christmas cards. This was one of them, my "mummy cat with her babies. Pic' was taken in 2003. XX

nice card , I know what you mean about price of ink , we got an hp all in one printer we got ink for that the other week but found in wilkinsons they was doing a two pack of colour and black hp ones funny really it worked out cheap for the hp than it did wilkinsons own make , hope you have a good Christmas and happy healthy new year take care

wikinsons was around £13 /14 for a twin pack which wasn't to bad but don't know if they have less ink in

You gotta be kiddin'? I can't afford that! I've just come back from Lidl and they have some that are compatible (if you're interested) - 5 (3 coloured + 2 black) for £9.99.

ok thanks will have to look in there not a shop I go to very often unless I see an offer on , not because I don't like the shop its just aldi and Tesco are on edge of town and lidil is right in middle so saves driving through

Drive through just think of the money you would save. Yes the ink in Australia for a printer work out to $100 I have to buy a set (4) in the set. Grrrr

Ahhh that's lovely 😻 little angels! I got Dell ink on ebay but the printer isn't working properly now, it won't scan 😕 I was thinking of putting a bit of research in to find a printer that was second to none...manyana manyana lol!

Brother MFC -J450DW ,,,,accepts after market ink very well and and you can get 5 pack for about $5

HP do an all in one scanner and printer.

Love the card! Know what you mean about the inks and discovered the cheaper the printer the dearer the inks, especially the better printers.

Totally agree Tesco were selling printers two weeks ago for 29 pound came home told my husband who then did his homework and then said leave the ink will cost as much as the printer.

Lovely card...they look so peaceful.

I do all my own photos and get full sets of 5 cartridges, with twice as much ink in them compared to the branded ones .....for £20

They last me ages and the colours are brilliant

Shop around on the internet.

Thanks Velvet, but to be honest I don't do much printing nowadays - only in black & white, and even that runs dry sometimes before I can use it. XX

I love doing black and white photos, especially portraits, they somehow seem to capture the mood of the subject better than colour.

Must be careful, l'm talking sensible for once !!!
