Why oh why

I have been fairly OK for a while now then wham. Woke this morning with a migraine that knocked me for six. Hopefully I have now stopped being sick so maybe, just maybe the headache will ease. I am going to imagine myself standing in the picture letting the peace, quiet, wildlife float over me. xx

Lovely picture suzy and I hope its soothing effect helps your migraine, along with a little prayer and a hug from me.

Had them myselfon and off over the years and have been given every medical treatment available. Usually ill for three days in total, pain excruciating and near constant sickness. Pain so bad at one time that I lost conciousness, eventually coming round on the hallway floor and was taken to hospital for a brain scan.

Pleased to say the migraines have eased in more recent times; current treatment NARATRIPTAN, (specifically for migraine) and metaclopromide, which is an anti-sickness tablet.

I'm sure you know the score but try and drink some water cos being sick will cause dehydration which in turn causes headaches - painful but NOTHING like the pain of migraine. God bless....Lovelight x

Oh, you poor thing. I have never suffered from migraine, but have a friend that does and she is so so so ill for days. I hope you improve this afternoon and are able to have a good nights's sleep and tomorrow will be a calm, no-migraine, lovely day :)

Hi Suzy,

So sorry about your migraine. Its a good sign that the sickness has stopped, and I'm sure you know the best thing to do to try and get rid of your headache. Cold pack? There are websites where you can make your own soothing sounds like gently falling rain, river, forest noises, storms, and loads more. You can use what someone else has posted or make your own. There is even the sound of bonfires. If you want more information on this, just let me know, and you can listen to soft relaxing sounds of nature, of your choice. Hope you are on the way to feeling better. lots of hugs from Huggs today. (((( (xxxxxxx)))))

I am sorry I have no good advise bit want to send you lots of love and healing thoughts. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Lots of love TAD xx

So sorry to hear you have migraine Suzy. Used to have them but if it's any consolation hun they are supposed to become less frequent as you get older - they certainly have with me. How miserable for you hun. Lovely piccie. Hope your pain and sickness improve and the sight distortion if you get that.
