Well that's DLA forms filled in with the help of Strood Community Project, thanks very much to them.
Not holding out much hope of success though.

Best of luck with the application. One of the last under DLA as PIP starts on Monday 10th
Be prepared to have to appeal, they knock loads back on the first attempt to try and put you off
Thanks Gordon
My forms had to be back by 13th, apparently that's when my area change over.
Last date for DLA claims was the 9th, you get the same amount of time in which to complete and return the forms as anyone else would have had before that date.
You will also have the same access to the appeals process as any DLA applicant before you, if you need to appeal of course. If you've had help filling the forms in then you may well sail through If not, you could get into the appeals process for some time. I applied a year ago and am awaiting a tribunal at present, that could be Sept/Oct from what they last told me. Don't be put off by any initial rejection
Best of luck - my first application was turned down, but I am applying again armed with more evidence and information following a recent appointment with my Consultant. Won't be putting me off!

Don't give up, it took me three appeals but in the end it has all worked out well, Good luck Kim
I put mine in 6 wks ago fingers crossed x
good luck with your claim and keep trying if it's refused first time, think most of us have been through the course and now I read they are stopping all claims if you are declared fit to work. In the past you were entitled to DLA even if you could work,so once again good luck.
Good luck - remember to concentrate on bad days when questions are asked. They often refuse first time (I used to apply for this for people) but persevere - you know you need it so keep telling them so.
Good Luck I hope you have the help, appeal straight away if they don't award it, remember its ' how your illness 'effects you' how it has changed your life for the worst' without hope we are hopeless, you SHOULD have this 'help' so be positive have hope and if at first you dont succeed try again! huff xxx
Thanks to everyone for the support, the lady who filled in my forms did put when I'm really ill she was great, she volunteers there three days a week. Bless her
