Its taken a few months but Iv'e finally done it. It seems as though eating less does work and my feeble attempt at blameing the steroids was just me looking for excuses.
I'm feeling so much better and would recommend giving it a go, if your over weight. Iv'e lost 23 lbs in total and carrying that around was making life more difficult.

That is fantastic, congratulations. When I was first diagnosed with COPD 17 years ago.I ballooned from 12 stone to 23 stone.I am now 19 stone and have been for the last 8years.
I have been told that it is unlikely that I will lose any more weight now but I haven't given up hope.
Well done for loosing that weight. How come some people with lung problems put weight on others lose it. I need to put some serious weight on, we've been having lots of cakes, pies, etc. to try and improve my weight, I'm still the same and Dennis has put weight on - supposed to be the other way around.
Well done you. Congratulations on hitting that target ..... I too am trying to get to 12st 7 lbs.... which is why I'm consuming vast quantities of chocs Only got another 3st 7lbs to go
