Hi Blakey
I've been in Cornwall since 1965 and I have never been to The Isles of Scilly nor have Ibeen to St Michael's Mount.

I used to work as a conveyancer. I had two clients who were selling and couldn't wait to move from St Marys to the mainland - I thought both ladies were slightly nutty because St Mary's is such a beautiful place.
If you have an accident on the Scillys then you are in trouble - you have to be shipped over to the mainland (or the Sea & Air Rescue (SAR) will fly you over).

Now, I may be thick or something, but, are the Scilly Isles not British ? Have often wondered why we get no news from there,or weather reports ? If not British, who do they belong to ??
Yep part of the British Isles much as Isle of Man and Ireland are - you can check their local news and weather if interested by google search.
Cheers for that info.learn something new everyday
Blakey, thank you for putting this film on. I visited the Isles of Scilly years ago and it was a treat to see the film. And the fish was good.
