Good Morning it is Monday and a new week of fun and laughter ff and huff please don't leave us, as an incentive to stay I will share this very special Chocolate Mug Cake recipe with you. You must promise not to make it if you leave.
•This is the most dangerous chocolate cake in the world cos it only takes 5 minutes to make.
•
•Chocolate Mug Cake.
Ingredients
4 tbsp flour
•4 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp cocoa
1 egg
3 tbsp milk
3 tbsp oil
Small splash vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug
3 tbsp chocolate chips ( optional )
Method
Add dry ingredients to mug and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add vanilla extract and chocolate chips if using and mix again.
Put the mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts ( high ). The cake will rise over the top of the mug but don’t be alarmed. Allow to cool and tip out onto a plate.
Oh my days - have dashed (yes dashed) to the kitchen cupboard to check for ingredients - guess what I'm going to be doing today, several times over I suspect !
Thanks Carole I feel so much better now. I weighed myself this morning and found I have lost 19 lbs in the last 2 months. Giving up chocolate was worth it, it seems although sometimes its hard, no thanks to blogs like this one.Ha Ha

I always have to amend recipes to fit around what's in my cupboards! Go for it and let us know what the results are .... I'll be using the stuff I sprinkle on my cuppacinos and lattes ... need to get some cocoa powder, as I used the last up when I made my chocolate fudge cake....

yep it works lovely, i smashed up half an asda's basic chocolate bar to use as the chips (oops and i melted the other half and poured over the top) but on a healthier note i put a handful of raspberries on the side it was yum thanks for the recipe exblonde

Glad to hear that.... Mine turned out okay too, and I substituted Maltesers instead of choc chips. With raspberries at £2 for a handful, I'll wait till they grow on my rasp bushes.... But well done for thinking healthily x x

my raspberries was a frozen box, I think cheaper from aldi. I just take out a few at a time, they were still a bit frozen tho with my hot choc mug cake, but i like them like that - better than icecream. I also freeze my red grapes and eat them straight out the freezer they are best that way
