This is quite hard, there are no tricks though. The right answer will perfectly fit the situation.
You are in a room.
There are two doors. One leads to freedom and delirious happiness, and the other to perpetual lumpy gravy times, with a bucketful of unfashionable hats and ingrowing toenails.
At each door there is one guard.
One of the guards ALWAYS lies.
The other ALWAYS tells the truth.
You have no idea which door or guard is which.
You are allowed to ask only one question of only one of the guards.
Obviously the one question will be to find the door to freedom. When you have the answer you can walk out the door of your choice.
If you ask something as simple as which door leads to freedom, the answer will be 50/50
Only one question.
Best of luck

Ask either door the following - if I asked the other door which door leads to freedom which one would be chosen. Given the answer take the opposite door to the one given.
Can't do it, brain won't work. Been up since 6am, made a cottage pie - there's only so much my mind can cope with. I expect KOTC will know the answer, won't you KOTC ?
