Does anyone else have problems swallowing and keeping food down?

Chellshock I have not heard of anyone saying that, but I think you should talk to you GP and see what they say, or you could phone the BLF helpline in the morning and see what they have to say, 03000 030 555, Sorry I don't really have an answer, but I am sure if anyone does they will soon let you know. I have Emphysema and asthma so it maybe that you have a different lung problem.

Been told ive got asthma with an element of COPD. Think i will speak to my gp. Thank you

Consider asking your doc about a referral to ENT also.

Acid reflux could be another possibility - best check in with your doc.

I have it too occasionally so eat smaller pieces and chew and swallow carefully.

also may be a flap in back of throat where foods land and then get coughed back up and out.

best to see your doc . I am now due to see a speech therapist who can give me exercises to help with this. hope you get the help you need. x

every morning im sick as a dog bringing everything from my stomach and i belive my lungs back is dreadfull! i then go dizzy whilst this is happening and have on occasion collapsed woke up in sick and bile! relayed this to my specialist and evidently is quite normal!

sometimes if ive nothing to do i deliberately stay in bed so it doesnt happen till the afternoon !

don't have problem swallowing food but food comes back up into my throwght for hours after I have eaten I have been prescribed domperidon
