Did your monterlukast stomach side effects go away?

I already have a stomach condition but my stomach is definitely WAY worse since starting this medication a couple days ago. I have a constant churning in my stomach that's quite bad. Anyone have similar that went away whilst adjusting to the medication?If so how long?

i have noticed gastric reflux but it’s not very new to me, try omeprazole in the morning before eating, but surely ask your doctor.

Omeprazole isn't good look at side effects on John Hopkins or mayo clinic the cons way out the pros

because there is a list of side effects doesn't mean you will get them all, if you did it wouldn't be licensed for use. Check out the list of side effects for paracetamol (Acetaminophen) on the Mayo Clinic website, it similar to Omeprazole.

My daughter been on monteklukast 5mg since she was 2 years old for server allergies. But she also has major gastro problems. And Allergic to bunch of foods

I’m afraid mine got worse over time and I no longer take it. In fact when I told my consultant he told me to stop it.

I too have a dodgy tum since early 20s however, I've been taking montelukast after evening meal for 13 years with no adverse effects. I take omeprazole 10mg most mornings around 5 or 6 am which takes the edge off reflux later in the day although I'm careful what I eat cutting out acid & most fats (which works for me) . We are all different, personally I take note if side effects are 1 in 10 or 1 in 100 but not 1 in 1000 or 10,000.
