everything has been good for a year now. I have been prescribed another bio - Tezzy which has been life savingly wonderful. I have reduced steroids and consultant is hopeful of elimination soon. Energy levels have really improved too.
So, in the last two days I have nosedived. I put this down to cold air exposure which has led to chest cold, aches and pains and restricted breathing again. I feel awful. No energy. it is starting into look like an infection. Oxygen down to 92 PF dropped 40%.
I know this is a temporary condition but can anyone suggest treatment that will work with the usual asthmatic drugs? I still take futiform and nebulisers (saline and sal), Azith together with preds.
Thanks for any advice

EDIT: just re-read and if your peak flow is 40% and oxygen sats 92% you should be heading to A&E or otherwise getting urgent help ***today***. 92% is not a good level for an asthmatic even if it is ok for some other lung conditions.
his is *really* something you need to be getting medical advice on - people on here can't and shouldn't be advising on how to treat a flare and/or infection. You need to be contacting your hospital team, or your GP, or if you're getting worse then A&E/999.
It may be temporary but it can still be serious, whether you have an infection or it's an asthma flare for some other reason. You need someone qualified to assess you properly and decide on a treatment plan.
I'm turning off replies to this now as I want to avoid the risk of any helpfully meant but inappropriate replies.
