neck tightness

hi all, I don’t know if this is an asthma symptom but the front of my neck feels really tight and like stretching pain. It just feels so tight it’s making me panic

First don't panic, are your glands swollen, does it affect your asthma ?It may be an infection/ virus. If it continues I would phone gp with details of when and how it affects you. X

Hey I hope you're okay, that sounds really uncomfortable. I have asthma and I get neck tightness however I also have reflux and other issues that might be contributing. Can your GP help? Or 111 if it's bad but hope things are settling for you

Not knowing anything about you (age, gender, other conditions), I’d say (as a former nurse) please get this checked by a Dr asap. Hope all is well.

So sorry you’re having this at the moment. Others have said to contact your GP surgery or call 111 and I think that should be your number one on the list. I have been told by Speech and Language that neck muscles can become tight with asthma and there are some very gentle movements that can be done to alleviate it but I would get it checked out by GP first. Here’s hoping that you feel better soon.
