Finally started my asthma injections and my asthma has reduced dramatically, it's been nearly 4 weeks since my first injection.
I was wondering if anyone else had these side effects. Mainly some dizziness and quiet bad fatigue. Often I get really tired and lack of energy. Got my second jab this Thursday.
Thanks.

I’m almost a week behind you with my 1st injection. It’s great to hear that it’s working for you. I can’t say I’ve been as lucky asI don’t feel as though I’ve had much improvement but I’m still hopeful.
I have had moments of tiredness and achey muscles but I think that’s a very common side effect. I’ve also suffered with niggling headaches that I can’t seem to shift.
Hi yeah I got the headaches and aches in back's of leg's for first couple of weeks. I have read that the side effects do ease over time. Hope your symptoms improve soon, my asthma was horrendous so I needed something really quickly to sort it, took nearly four years before they put me on the treatment though
I have been on the same injection for over a year now and have not noticed any side effects. My asthma has been a lot better but I am still on 3mg per day of steroids. Hoping to cut down to 2mg at my next injection on April 15th 😀
I have been on Benra injections for a few months now after giving up on Nucala because of side effects. Good to know others are suffering fatigue and aches as I thought it was just me! certainly the clinic doctors say nobody else gets what I get, weak muscles particularly in my legs. my asthma is better though so as usual you have to weigh up what is more important.
Don't want to concern you but have you ever had your cortisol checked? If you've been on long-term/high dose steroids they can suppress your adrenal glands causing a lack of cortisol. It's something that happened to me after using Prednisolone a lot over the years, had the exact same fatigue symptoms. I haven't been on the drug you are, so can't comment on if it's that or not. I tried Xolair which didn't work and just caused weight gain for me. Your GP can check your cortisol with a 9am cortisol test or ask your consultant.
Thanks it's fine, I have a massive amount of allergies especially to dust mites, so my eosinophil level is off the scale, hence why I having injections.
