Well we now have covid in the house so Christmas is off, I don’t have it and am trying to do all I can to limit exposure, I only have one day left at work which id rather not work as I’m worried if I am incubating it and would pass it on to others I wear a mask at work but still I work in retail. Someone can cover me but at an inconvenience so am in another quandary,
I’m testing every day now.
Any tips welcome,
Thanks

Oh no I am so sorry to hear it’s made its way to your household! What rubbish timing too! Really hope your family make a speedy recovery and you manage to avoid it!
I was positive 2 weeks ago, been testing negative since the weekend! Still feeling rough and wiped out but definitely getting there!
Just take care and look after yourself! Plenty of rest, and healthy foods to make sure you’re as strong as possible to fight it if you do end up catching it! Also, do you have a peak flow meter? Asthma plan? Just keep monitoring your symptoms and seek immediate help if there are any changes, GP or 111 etc regardless of test result! When I spoke to my GP (peak flow drop and coughing loads) they immediately prescribed steroids and told me to not hang on or wait to call, just call immediately no matter how minor a change in symptoms! Also goes without saying, if you have a preventative inhaler make sure you’re remembering to take it as prescribed, and make sure you have enough Salbutamol/Ventolin to see you through if you needed it!
