I had my first xolair today. Not impressed with the thought of three injections every two weeks.

I wonder how long it will take to see any effect?

I saw an impact after 4 months. Can you do the self-injections? I love those, takes about 30 seconds.

Similar to hilary39's experience, I started seeing the effects after 4 months or so. My injections are once in 4 weeks, and it took them 6 sessions to entrust the self-injections to me. I have never done self-injections before, so for me it was a new experience.

In the USA, my Xolair injections were two doses every 2 weeks. Not sure why in the UK it's 4 doses every 4 weeks. Overall, it's the same I guess.
