Sounds like you should discuss this with your GP/asthma nurse.
My daughter has similar problems. She's had asthma & reflux for a few years now with many exacerbations especially in winter months when she seems prone to chest infections. She had multiple blood tests due to the exhaustion but they were all normal and she's now under gastroenterology for the reflux.
When she was first diagnosed with the reflux and started on Gaviscon Advance it improved her asthma (she's on omeprazole now too). Now in winter when she's poorly the asthma gets worse then the reflux does too because of the increased coughing or side effect of steroid tablets, but also where she's so tired its really hard for her to avoid lying down within 3 hours of eating. It's certainly worth seeing if you can improve each condition as they will both make the other worse.
