Residue / cloudiness

Hi when someone says static build up what does that mean in a spacer or how do you tell or know when the static is building up etc as I have no clue or is it the residue from inhaler and cloudiness mean static building up

It's the medication from the inhaler, it gradually builds up until you can see it. The spacer won't look as cleanly transparent as when it was new. Some people have 2 or 3 spacers, use them in rotation after washing then air drying them. Some put them in the dishwasher. Hope that clarifies. P

a metal lead that one connects to a conductive object. This is what they use when soldering and assembling electronics (prevents static sparks that may ruin diodes, chips etc).

I'm not sure that its static build up, I was just referring to the build up of the medication. It takes quite a while for the spacer to build up the residue. I'm guessing that static maybe what causes the residue to stick to the plastic.

Advice re spacer was this-

Wash every week.

( you must not rue the inside so prob not dishwasher!)

When cloudiness remains change it!

Dishwasher is approved by the company that makes them.

Do not expect it to return to perfection. Residual build up is to be expected. When you get to the point where it’s opaque despite cleaning then it’s time to change them.

Soaking and rinsing is enough. Don’t rub the inside of you can help it
