Docs Surgery No Complaint

I have returned after 8 day stay in my local hospital after a severe asthma attack, Pneumonia Costochondritis Pleurisy and a few other minor issues {I think I am slowly dropping apart} The hospital kindly provided me with a Ambulance to take me home {Many Thanks Yorkshire Ambulance Service} whilst traveling home I received a Text from my local doctors surgery stating that I would receive a telephone consultation with my usual GP

My GP phoned me at the exact time stated on the text and during a precise and reassuring conclusion I said" we have been talking for over the 10mins consultation time " Her reply was "I do not have to obey this stupid regulation. I will decide as to the time according to the individual patients requirements "

Many Thanks to my GP's who are always at hand and with a rapid response to help me at all times

Hey Wheesy, Sorry you have been in with a severe asthma attack! Really hope you start to feel much better soon!

That’s great to hear of the good care you’ve received! It helps so much when you have good medics working with you! You Gp sounds great and I imagine the popular one at your surgery.

Take care!

All the medical staff at my surgery are fantastic to me. The only draw back is getting past the receptionist but I get past them by saying that they are are dealing with a patient who could die without immediate attention and if I die it will be on your conscience. I very quickly get a response. I have even heard comments from other receptionists that they have not looked properly at my record and should have noticed that I am highlighted in red for a rapid response. Try it sometime it may work for you as well as meThanks for sending your best wishes#

It's good to hear about excellent care and I hope your recovery from a horrible exacerbation is swift. It makes all the difference to how we feel as patients when we know those who we depend on for health care have got our backs. Take care Wheesy & thanks for sharing.

I am feeling a lot better thank you. Managed a slow walk with many stops {three quarters of a mile} Fresh air and exercise is good for us all.
