Aaargh!,, 😫😩🤬Just offloading. I’m really so fed up I could scream! 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
I’ve been trying to manage SoB using ventolin (as well as usual meds) over the last couple of days, but it’s not lasting 4 hours. I’ve had to admit defeat and start taking pred again even though it’s only 3 weeks since I finished the last lot! Rant finished, sorry.
My question is (apologies because I think it’s been answered before but I can’t find the post) I’m due for my second Pfizer jab tomorrow, will I be able to have it when I’m on pred ?
Thanks in advance xx

I was also on Prednisone when I got both of my Moderna shots. Absolutely should go ahead! I was on 15mg for the first shot and 10mg at the second shot. Everyone (pharmacists, doctors) said to go ahead and in fact it's important to get it given our asthma condition. The only thing that is suspected but no definitive answer is out there that I can find is whether there would be some decreased efficacy. But based on the real-world experience (Israel etc), I'm comforted to know that the efficacy is stellar overall (which includes the immunocompromised in the denominator - though I'd really like to know if there is a breakout for immunocompromised due to meds or otherwise). Anyway - it's a great feeling to get the 2nd shot completed. All the best -
