I was on clinel and my sleep is good and I asked my doctor to change to fostair 200 in an attempt to completely eradicate my asthma but unfortunately I became less sleep 6 to 5 hours, what does this mean? is it because higher dose of corticosteroids or just because fostair 200?

It's probably the effect of the long-acting bronchodilator in the Fostair. To be honest it sounds like you were better on the Clenil so I'd stick with that.

You can't eradicate asthma anyway. Even if well controlled you can still have flare ups.

My doctor put me on Fostair 100, not straight on Fostair 200/6, indicating that it could make me feel odd - too strong to go straight from Symbicort 200/6 to the same strength Fostair. On that logic it seems a huge step to go from Clenil to Fostair 200/6. Do you really need it?

If you have asthma you have asthma. Your can have better periods and worse periods, but once you have got it you are stuck with it. It is better to accept it and find the best way to live with it. There are Olympic athletes who have asthma, it doesn’t stop them if well controlled, though there are also athletes who for a while can really struggle.
