This might sound a bit random but please bear with me! Has anyone ever experienced a feeling of their lungs feeling really irritable and like they are itchy/twitchy inside? I’ve been on pred for a week as my asthma was flaring and peak flow was dropping (the pred got it back into the green zone). Since yesterday I’ve begun reducing the pred by a tablet a day but I can’t shake this feeling unless I take vent & peak flow is starting to dip again (but is still in the green, just the lower end). I don’t know if it’s just my lungs recovering from yet another flare & need to finish the course to settle or if they are just being dodgy!

Itchy lungs is definitely a symptom for me.
Yup! I thought it as me just being weird then I saw other people here mention twitchy lungs too
Yes, I fell it everyday. Only cortisteorids keep this sensation away
Yes! I have also had what I can only describe as "itchy" lungs. I thought I was just being weird until I read your post and responses! Also had "dry" lungs like it feels like the air and moisture has been sucked out. Not sure if this is a thing either?!
I'm sorry I can't off any advice. For me it happened during a flare.
