Hiya guys I just wanted to see if anyone is in the same position as me or has been. My stepdad who I live with has just tested positive for covid 19. I am currently shielding as I’m in tier 4, how am I suppose to live in the same house as someone with covid but at the same time I can’t leave the house as I’ve come into contact with him?

I think you just kind of have to by extra cautious with hygiene, good ventilation, maintain distance, separate bathrooms where possible, the positive person could do with isolating within the home if possible and making sure you clean the kitchen etc before you use it. There is guidance in the shielding info but it's probably just common sense avoiding them as much as possible and being clean. Don't forget that even the CEV are not at greater risk of getting it - it's the possibility of complications but even that isn't a guarantee. I hope he is ok and recovers quickly, and no-one else gets it.

When I remember right, it was part of the 'how clean is your house' at channel 4.
But they changed something in the settings and I'm not able to watch it anymore.
Maybe it was this:
