please I was diagnosed of Asthma bronchial 5months ago and am using budiair 1 morning and 1 at night.

My breathing is getting better but the problem is am losing weight and am asking it is because of the inhaler or what.

My doctor did ECG and it was good and also did Pulse Oximeters also good but lung function was not all that good.

I don't cough is only wheezing and with little shortage of breathe I went to pharmacy and I explained it and was given allergy nasal spray for my nose and for 2wks now the wheezing had gone for best and am confuse the inhaler rather didn't help me but the nose spray had stop wheezing.

when I didn't have Asthma I was haven a little weight but since I started using the Asthma inhaler for 3months now have been losing weight but my doctor told me I should still continue using the inhaler and am confused can someone give me idea or the budiair inhaler don't help me .

Hi Chris, when the nasal spray helps it's good news, because lot of people who have asthma are very sensitive to all kind of dust, perfume, deodorant and lots more. So the spray helping you because you have allergies to something. I would go back to your GP and have a chat about that you are confused. I don't know this inhaler you got. Might be helpful to have a chat with the asthma helpline here to discuss your concerns. But definitely speak with someone about it. Losing weight in this time has maybe something to do that you are worried about the diagnosis it can change a lot in someone's life. I believe that a second opinion would be helpful to you. Just take it easy and take care of yourself. Stay safe 👍🎈🍀
