Had my x ray results back today. Lungs have not got any worse. Shows slight scarring and sagging causing more mucus

Hi all

So had my x ray results back today from my test last week because the one I had in jan showed some slight scarring and atelectasis. Basically the bottom of my lungs drop a bit and produce more mucus or something. Apparently it’s common after a bad chest infection. But anyway it’s not got any worse in the last 10 months so that’s good. I have an appointment with a specialist next week to go through things with me I think.

Anyone on here had these issues??

Hi I’m pleased your lung scarring hasn’t got any worse. I don’t know much about lung scarring, just that I might have it mildly too (had a vq scan in July post Covid). I’m not diagnosed at the moment. Hope you find out more from a specialist and they can help you.
