tickle or pinch and cough

hi, lately in the last 3 weeks i have a problem with my throat, i feel like a pinch or tickle, and then to feel better i get a cough once or twice, before it was only 3 to four times a day now it seems more often, maybe someone in here has/had same symptoms, i do have anxiety, i do take pills for it, i have anxiety for over 20 years, i never felt this problem before. ty

Hi damiante, I get that. If I take a puff of Ventolin it stops.

It could also be non-asthma related as things like post nasal drip and acid reflux can cause that sensation.

Ty so much for replying, i had acid reflux, i do take famotidine, i also have sinus, but i never experienced tickle or pinch in my throat before this is new to me, ty again

I’m quite new to asthma, still learning my signs and symptoms and I get the same sort of feeling too. I also take ventolin when it happens and it works. I’m not sure from your post whether you have been diagnosed as having asthma; if you have you should have ventolin on repeat prescription.
