I’ve found my asthma is particularly bad This time of year , long n short after some research I’m convinced it’s related to high fungal spores of alternaria and cladasporium
I have tested allergic to alternaria on skin prick test, don’t think they tested cladasporium
Has anybody had any immunotherapy for alternaria / cladasporium ?
Cheers

I have a similar reaction to Aspergillus which is a common mould. I've been asking for help with this for years as it makes me asthma worse, but I don't think there is any specific treatment other than being told to "avoid" it. How you can avoid it when you can't see it is a mystery but there you go...
I look at Worcester University's allergy page which includes a fungal spore forecast, so at least you can see what's out there worcester.ac.uk/about/acade...
I bought a Dyson air purifier which was £300, it's expensive but it helps, otherwise it's antihistamines and steroids if my asthma gets really bad. I also use Benadryl Naturease to wash out my nasal passages, available at Boots etc. Allergy treatment has a long way to go in the UK I think...
I suffer the same so would be interested to hear of research in this area. We live in an agricultural village and I have to stay inside from mid July to mid September during hay making and harvesting or I'm really bad. We have decided to move but can't decide whether it should be to the coast or a higher town like Harrogate. We're currently near to York which is very low lying. Going away for as much of this time is the best for me and we used to spend weeks in a caravan in the South of France - impossible to do that this year.
