Hi

I’m on benra. It’s really helped calm my lungs down (over halved my asthma admissions). I still get issues but I also have allergic asthma which it obviously doesn’t work on.

Side effects for me seem to be fatigue, headaches and general aches and pains but nothing major.

Hope this helps and it works for you

Hi Profil123

I also have Benra injections.. They have been fantastic really. I have only had one short course of pred in 5mths whilst being on it.

I was ( and still am) a little concerned about long term side effects but that is something I have to weigh up for myself.

I also only have a bit of a headache and achy joints for a few days after each injection.

Hope it works as well for you too..take care.

👍😊

Hi Profil-I was yo-yo'ing on and off prednisone for 2 years in addition to my background meds of Symbicort, Singulair, Ventolin (as needed) - I'm in the US. I was on Benra (Fasenra) for 6 months. I have to say it was rather excellent re the efficacy - I was biking almost everyday with no tightness....something I hadn't done in a LONG time. For me, the strange thing was I got an eye infection that was treated with steroid drops and lingered for 2 months,,,,and then a weird thumb infection that lasted 10 days (maybe not related) and the kicker was this bizarre lip eruption that last 3 weeks with many ointments from dermatologist. So I decided to discontinue. I'm disappointed because it was so good at making my lungs feel open. Well, I may try Dudpixent next, but taking a break for now. I hope you have great luck with benra. Everyone is different and many people switch till they find the right one. Just wanted to share my experience.
