Can I shield at the coast?

As I’m told I can now go out, but still need to shield until the 1st August, does anyone know if I can shield at my caravan at the coast, when the sites open again?

I bought a caravan in October, and never used it. They will be putting a veranda on in 2weeks, so I will be able to sit out with my dogs. I walk them in the mornings when it’s early, so I don’t see many people. I just need to get out before I go back to work at the beginning of August. Thanks for your reply.

The only thing I would say to be very careful about is if you have to use shared facilities such as toilets and showers.

Hi Abc64

All I would say is that I live on the coast and we have been absolutely inundated with visitors since lockdown was eased.

Obviously I don’t know where you plan to go but it may not necessarily be nice and quiet to shield at your caravan!! Lots of others also have the same idea!! Come 4th July it will be chaos in most seaside resorts especially if the weather is good.

Some visitors are also not very sensible when it comes to social distancing/thinking about others when on holiday. We have had many problems in the past few weeks here....

Anyway sorry to sound negative but just thought before you head off...

I hope you enjoy! 😊

Take care👍
