When ever I have an asthma attack I have very noisy breathing when I inhale, which I thought was a wheeze however the drs always say my chest is clear with no wheeze.
The only time they seem to hear a wheeze is when my peak flow drops by 50%.
The noise I make always disappears after a nebuliser and my peak flow improves.
Anyone else experienced this and been told what it is?

I have the same thing. Previously I’ve been told it’s just because my airways inflamed but think it can also just be the result of laboured breathing for an extended period of time sorry I can’t be specific maybe ask your asthma specialist
I have had this too, mine is not generated from chest, but upper airways. Think it is to do with narrowed airways. It's has if I'm whistling by just inhaling.
