update on acid reflux tests and results.

As promised my test results came back last week at last. I do have acid reflux but the consultant can't see why my stomach is still producing too much acid. Everything checks out as normal.( My GP talked me through the letter from the consultant)

So the plan to move forward is to put me on two months of Ompreloze (40 mg) 20 mg morning and night and see what happens.

Its been a week and I no long feel sick after eating I sure that's because my stress levels have gone down. I was getting two of my daughter ready for university and taking them to their uni to start. I still get a sore throat. My voice can be a bit croaky but I think that's due to the post nasal drip.

I am still avoid all the foods that trigger my acid reflux, no eating more than 3 hours before I go to bed.

I have to go back to my doctor at the end of the course to see how I am. So far so good. No side effects of taking the medication.

That's a mixed bag of results. It's good (?) that you've got some medication which hopefully will help things 🤞 Maybe more will be revealed about the cause of it all by the end of the course of medication. It's great that you have less stress for all kinds of reasons but especially as it can cause crazy physical effects. I hope things continue to improve for you 😊

Yes the result of the tests has ruled out all the nasties and the values in my osphegus were normal.

I had a result of 69 episodes of reflux instead of the normal less than 50. Hence the PPI medication.

I hope and pray things improve too.
