I have had to use my inhaler for the first time in months due to the impossible heat has anyone else had to use there inhaler because of the heat? ant suggestions in what to do I try to stay out of the heat but that's not always possible!

I too find the heat makes things worse and brings on coughing and chest tightness.

My doctor gave me a leaflet when I got diagnosed, which said people with asthma can be badly affected by either cold or hot weather.

yes this is so true I have had asthma for almost all my life and its not just the heat when it gets really cold I also have problems-how long have you had asthma?

I only recently got diagnosed at 60 🤐

Again, doctor says usually you are either diagnosed as a young child or as someone about my age. It sucks.

Yep in fact we put my recent flare down to the heat in conjunction with high pollen counts and fighting one of the numerous viruses that seem to be going around .Its strange though that it only affects me in the uk
