I was gutted when my long waited for appointment to see an immunologist at the main teaching hospital came through for Sept 2nd thinking that felt so far away, but was still waiting for respiratory appointment that was put in for at the same time. That has now come through for Oct 9th! 😳
What’s even more gutting is that I put trust in the fact I may have had answers and at least a plan by then and had booked a week’s retreat/holiday in Spain .....and it is that week! 😩 so will have to move it on further!

Yes quite possibly! They're appointments phone people are nice though if that helps.
Thanks, you too. I'm in hosp so it won't necessarily be wonderful but should be better than Mon-Wed now things are improving! My consultant is on holiday (ARGHH) but the resp nurses have been amazing writing loads in my notes (including finding evidence of when consultant has said that in the past notes) so what I need and what should happen is in place.
Oh I am so sorry to hear that. I do hope you make it home soon. Very encouraging about the notes aspect. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if that became the norm 👍🏻 x
Can you clone your team please, cons and nurses lol? Looked at your other posts twinkly29 and in some respect you seem like me in how you present...but I still find it hard for anyone to get that!!
Yes I've thought before that we have similarities. My team are great. I was lucky at my previous local hospital too, before I moved, never told "you're not wheezing, not asthma" in a&e. So many people are told that still. Mind you, yesterday the resp nurse was writing a contingency plan for the weekend (if I need attention it's always at a weekend when drs limited and also don't know what to do as I'm complicated. Or they say oh you're not wheezing, you're ok.) She wrote in it SHE DOESN'T WHEEZE! 😂
lol I wrote that on my own summary everywhere! Glad this nurse gets it as so many don't (I feel like I have to tell my asthma team/remind them and one still says it's 'good' when I'm not wheezing and have normal eosinophils...eerr I never wheeze and don't have that kind of asthma which you, dear asthma nurse, should know by now...) Your team sounds great
