Hi,

I'm in the middle of this series which I think may be extremely helpful to anyone. It's free for the next 5 days. It's about how the bacteria (or lack thereof) in our gut affect our health. The new science is amazing and may show you how you can get help to improve your health. If we don't have the right bacteria in our gut/intestines our health can suffer.

I knew a little but this has much more.

Recently different groups do a 7 or 9 day video series of very interesting new medical ideas on health where they interview both doctors and patients but mainly doctors and have animation where needed. Each episode is only free for 24 hours and usually they then have a week-end where all 7/9 episodes are again shown once. They make their money by selling the series and offering it "cheap" while it is still showing - but you don't have to buy to watch initially.

It's very helpful just to watch and learn. I just watch and don't buy.

Google:- Interconnected series.

Well worth a look.

I have been taking probiotics for four & a half years after being chronic asthmatic for nearly 50 years and averaging 2/4 chest infections per year. I have had no chest infections since & have not taken any antibiotics in that time. Now nearing my 75th Birthday & sticking to a healthy lifestyle with some effective supplements. No Meds., except a nasal spray as & when required, walk /run /cycle 20 to 30 miles per week. 10 years ago following a major neck trauma I was on 7 different meds. and took 10 minutes to crawl up stairs if I forgot my inhalers. It is possible to turn your life around if you do your own research and I think the gut microbiome is a very good starting point and also cutting out foods causing inflammation.Good luck to everybody willing to put in the hard work.

Thanks Su-mo - It's encouraging to know that it is possible to improve and overcome bad health. Years ago I tried probiotics but they really did nothing for me. However, learning from these videos that there are three different main types of probiotics and that different people require different strengths of these, and all the other important information to help me renew my gut health, I am hopefully in a position to have a much better outcome and get more energy back into my life.

Hello thankfully I haven’t been affected by the smoke. I live further up to the northern end. How’s everything going with you both?
