Melatonin

Hi everyone first time post,just wondering if anybody has experience of taking melatonin with prednisolone.ive been on Pred 30-40mg for 9 years but have recently been on 60mg for the last 5 weeks,my consultant suggested I try melatonin to help with my sleep,is there different strengths and where is best place to buy them

Try phenergan tablets. They are herbal and do the trick for me. You can buy at chemists. I also take my pred as soon as I wake u melatonin did not work for me. Hope this helps x

Melatonin is often best tried at the lowest dose. It can make you sleepy the next day. There is a slow release variety which helps if you wake up during the night.

Thanks for all your advice,looks like it’s going to be a bit of trial and error for me,started mepo injection this week so fingers crossed won’t be too long before I can start to come down on the pre
