How is the cold weather effecting you

How’s everyone finding the cold weather for me it’s difficult to walk the dog 🐕

Hi! I recently was diagnosed in the summer with mild asthma, I have found the cold has recently started to have an effect, scraping my car on icy mornings is with the scraper in one hand and my inhaler in the other 😂 I too find walking my dogs a much harder effort as it’s got colder too! Things like scarfs and snoods and wrapping up as warm as I can bear does help somewhat, and I have on one or two occasions taken my ventolin before leaving the house too! I also have found the winter bugs have got me bad this winter too!

If I can manage to go out I wrap a scarf around my nose and mouth plus wear a hat and gloves just wrap up warm and try to stay out of the wind, but I do find keeping my mouth and nose covered helps

It’s really good advice to wear a buff, scarf that’s what I found works best for me BUT when it’s-3 I’m better off not going out just get short of breath I mean I can do it but it’s not at all nice. If however I do go I go slow with plenty of stops make me smile because the bloody dog somehow knows I’m having problems and waits patiently ALWAYS carry your ventolin also a Halls extra strong mint helps. Good luck everyone better weather coming. Then it will be to hot 🥵
