Nebules online

Hi i understand the dangers of buying online and also what docs are saying,however i have severe copd and am currently in hospital and daily nebs would help my quality of life at home. Yet they still say no so what do they expect people to do. I cant go on like this !

Hi you would get more advice putting your post into the British Lung Foundation site rather than an asthma one. There are loads with copd there and some at your stage. Just follow the link. x

Hi I use sailine for nebulizer it's all I'm allowed I had to buy my own nebulizer got new from eBay it's portable then asked my nurse if I cud have meds for nebulizer she said drs don't like to in case we use them to often which is stupid but they let me have sailine it does help not brilliant but it does help i will buy sailine from eBay chemist if I have to I'm bad with emphysema hope I've helped you

I have copd and am the BLF site and I know from others that nebulising isn't always the answer and there are often good reasons why doctors are reluctant to prescribe saline. Sometimes it can do more harm than good. I have seen reasons why on that site which is why I recommended the poster put their post there. It might be a good idea if you popped in and asked too? x

You are welcome. Like I said I have seen things for and against it and I would not want any harm to come to either of you. If you put nebuliser in the search box on that site all the previous posts on it will come up too.
