I am sorry to hear this. I must admit, I am 42 and I still wonder if I will ever be well again. The past 10 years have been a series of asthma flare ups and chest infections. I will say that I do go through periods where I feel a bit better, but then it hits me again. Each time, it takes me longer to recover. Try to be gentle on yourself. Speak to an asthma nurse about recovery times. I think we forget just how damaging asthma can be. Hopefully you are feeling better soon.
