Advice for working in all weathers

Now I am back working (as a supply Teaching assistant) after raising my family. I have just started this week and autumn/winter can be a tricky time for me. I have been outside through the wind and rain and travelling on public transport. One need of ventolin today. I am doing the usual wash my hands, carrying my inhaler around with me and the scarfie of course.

Advice and tips please

If the scarf doesn’t cut it, try a buff. I’ve just bought one cause my scarf/snood kept ‘falling’ off my mouth/nose. The buff is very secure but not suffocating, breathable and comes in different thicknesses for hotter/colder weather! If it’s particularly ‘dirty’ public transport, you could try a Cambridge mask (hidden under your scarf 😜) to filter out the fumes/viruses from others.

Wrap up and do your best to keep dry and health. Hopefully you’ll be working with kids who know how to be ‘politely’ ill ie cover their mouths etc... if not educate them 😜

Good luck with the new job x
