Respiratory Specialist Hospital Norfolk

Hi guys

Bit of an odd question but is anyone on here based in Norfolk? If so do you know where the respiratory specialist hospital is? I’m looking to move to North-East Norfolk (hopefully ☺️) however I can’t find where the resp hospital is - as I’m on monthly injections it would be useful to know where I’d need to travel too 😅

I’m currently working on the assumption it’ll be in Norwich, but if anyone actually knows that would be great 😊

Hi Emma,

I live in Norfolk and there isn't a specialist hospital unfortunatly. I have been told the nearest is Cambridge 😔

😱 hopefully not! I really don’t fancy the 2-3 hr journey each way if it’s true. Rumour has it tho that Norwich can do my injections so 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Oh thats good news! When i spoke to asthma u.k they said cambridge or london. Will definetly save a trek!

We're hoping to move to north Suffolk and there is a Respiratory Medicine Department at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital - nnuh.nhs.uk/departments/res...

Thanks a lot. I knew there was a department there, however my current (and old) local hosp also has a resp unit but can’t do the mepo injections I’m on, hence the query!

Thank you... was panicking I’d have to travel to Cambridge and back every month 😅. Fingerscrossed they’ll do mepolizumab for me! X
