I’ve been getting really bad asthma for the past 6 months....I had it when I was a child but it went away for more that 7 years . My Lungs are really sensitive to the slightest cold weather and not being able to do daily activities . I’m so dependent on medication and I’m wondering if it’ll ever go? Doctors say it’s acute .

Hi sminsidmail I know you may not want to hear it but Unfortunately your asthma won't go away but take heart it doesn't mean it will rule your life. With good medical care you should be able to manage it.
There are lots of people on here with acute asthma and get on with life. I sure they will write replies for you.
Sorry to hear that it is impacting your daily activities. That's tough to deal with. Get as much information as you can about possible ways of managing the asthma so that when you see the doctor you can ask about different treatments and managing strategies.
You say that you are very cold sensitive. Is it getting better now that the weather is warming up. You can always speak to one of the Asthma UK nurses on their helpline. They are very helpful. All the best.
usually if you get asthma as a child you may grow of it. However it's unlikely that you'll grow out of it as an adult. You can manage your asthma with help. Unfortunately asthma occurs because your lungs are damaged and if not managed properly can result in COPD . You need to have a good chat with your doctor get the right medication and help and see an asthma nurse at least every 3 to 6 months. Unlike the Liver which is a regenerative organ the lungs cannot regenerate unfortunately you're stuck with it . However you can manage it, there are athletes who have asthma and still run for Britain so it's not the end of the world as long as you take the doctor's advice hope it helps good luck
It may be with you for life, but it won't be this bad all the time. The medications available improve all the time and you will learn how different things affect you and the best way to cope. You ought to have a specialist you can talk to. If you don't, get a referral from your GP and write down questions as they occur to you, so you don't forget what you want to know when you do see a consultant. Remember, a consultant is often not as rushed as a GP and more able to talk things through - and they know more!
Chrissiemons is right asthma is not nice. Get your doctor to do the usual tests IE.. X-ray etc.. & hopefully he'll refer you to a chest clinic to get the best help you will need for your particular needs.
