What started off as a cold has now developed into a lovely sinus infection.. This is now triggering my asthma off... I am shaking with cold and feel ruubish! I am wheezing on and off, the weird thing is when im wheezing my peak flow is better than when im not! At night it is 280 and during the day 300-350 personal best 460.
I guess my question is how low would you let your peak flow go before seeing a dr as i have been given a lot of conflicting advice.. I dont want to go when i am not wheezing as thats a guarantee i will be told im fine...
Thanks

If your peak flow is low, I would go in. If the GP says you are fine, ask him at which point does your peak flow need to drop to before it's considered an issue, wheeze or not? Not everyone has a wheeze but you are obviously having breathing issues. Try not to let it go to long as it may deteriorate into a chest infection. Alternatively, call an asthma nurse through Asthma UK. They at usually good at helping you know when to seek help. Hope you feel better soon.
Thankyou, i just get given so much conflicting advice from drs its hard to know what to do! Forgot about AUK helpline will give them a ring in the morning to.
