Hi there please does anyone know or had this when their toddler inhales the 50 dose it makes them cough more than the 100. I’ve tried it and can notice how harsh it is and I’m asthmatic so take the 100 dose daily. Thank you

Hiya,

It might use a different propellant or something. It’s worth asking your gp to put it on a yellow card to let the company know.

If she is prescribed 50x 2 then I would say it’s fine to give her the 100 once if she takes it better.

You could always call the expert nurse team at Asthma UK. I’ve always found them to be very good.

Good luck anyway. X

Thank you for your reply I thought so. We have been on it in the past and had to go up to 100 but the asthma nurse at the hospital said they do think there’s evidence to show that 2 puffs of the 50 dose is better absorbed than 1 of the 100 so that’s why we are on it but may go back as you say to the 100 x
