Ring 111

This not a site for emergency help, if you think it is important then ring the non emergency NHS number, but if it is only irritating, is it that bad.

If it’s not urgent but is bothering you, try inhaling over a steaming bowl of water, after a few goes try and bring up the gunk, then steam again. Do it a few times then do it again in a few hours.

It seems that you need an ENT specialist

Sometimes I get post nasal drip I use Neil Med Sinus rinse and Dymista nasal spray if you are not feeling good would advise to go to doctor.

Try simple linctus from pharmacy in warm water cheap to buy and eases throat phlegm and cough. Inhale steam and take your asthma meds and see how you get on. If you don't feel well and you can't cope seek medical help😊

Like others say it’s not an emergency site although I use to get this and found it was nasel drip down the back into my throat but I think you should get it checked out

Hayfever, rhinitis, post nasal drip and sinusitis can all cause it. So can an upper respiratory tract infection. Try the treatments recommended, ask your pharmacist for advice, It isn't pleasnat but not urgent unless you have problems breathing with your lungs. And yes you can feel pretty grotty with it.

If it continues see GP to check if it is an infection which needs further treatment. Or possible reflux or sinusitis. With the warmer weather the pollen levels can increase, but it may not be the cause. Hope you feel better soon.
