Why does my chest feel as if I am in a straight jacket sometimes? I did have a fall or is it my asthma that is causing my breathlessness?

It sounds to me you need to see a doctor, if you are still struggling. We are a group of fellow sufferers, not medics, so we can’t help with diagnoses. If you are worried go see someone. Or perhaps ring Asthma UK helpline. They can’t diagnose either over the phone, but they can perhaps help you sort out what you need to do.
