Voc and toddler with happy wheezing

My 3 year old has brown and blur inhailer and is also on montlacast.I did a really stupid thing and painted his bedroom with high voc paint ,I didn't realise my mistake till too late ,I've been told to leave a few weeks before letting him sleep In there but now ive scared myself into thinking it may not ever be safe !!!any advice as my anixity isn't helping either of us !

Would it be possible to repaint his room? If not, leave it a few weeks and see how he gets on sleeping in there again. We never had trouble with paint around our very poorly son (we were very careful of course), it was the colds that got him.

Thanks I heard it still seeps though if u repaint before 5 yrs but may leave a bit longer thank you x
