Well after yet another set of steroids in 3 weeks and all the trouble I've had over time I've finally been referred to the hospital as my gp can't do anymore. Strange as it may seem I'm happy

New Here and thought I'd researched everything on Asthma, mine is complicated. Late onset I have heard of but always assumed it a result of smoking. If you don't/didn't smoke much I'm lost why it would develop out of nowhere...there is usually a genetic component, trigger, new severe anxiety....oral steriods are to be used with caution as have side effect (even bone/joint issues). Curious if you find out why this has happened. I've done all the research etc. but mine is genetic mostly.
