Looking for parents with child with suspected diagnosis

Hi everyone,

Our media team is looking to do a piece with a women’s magazine on how parents manage their child’s symptoms before an asthma diagnosis. We know from our recent survey that parents of children under 5 or 6 often wait years before knowing for sure that their child’s cough, wheeze and breathlessness are due to asthma. Many parents are told their child has ‘suspected asthma’ because a definite diagnosis isn’t possible so young. All are doing their best to deal with their young child’s symptoms. If this is you, and you’re happy to share your story to help our media team, you can PM me or drop me a line at aghosh@asthma.org.uk

Thanks,

Dita
